Coming up this week at the market we have our first cooking demonstration with Chef Maurice Boire of the River Mill Restaurant! To celebrate Fathers’ Day we will be featuring a variety of Dad-friendly cooking, including smoked foods and grilling, done with fresh local produce that you can pick up from our vendors right here at the market.
Chef Maurice Boire is a rising star on Kingston’s food scene. One of the youngest chefs in the area, he has brought his fresh style to the upscale River Mill Restaurant, located on the Cataraqui River in the historic Woolen Mill building. Adding a creative twist to classical French cuisine and sourcing high quality local produce whenever possible, Chef Maurice has been wowing diners with his culinary delights and artistry. You don’t want to miss out on the fun and excitement of learning with this up and coming Chef. And yes, there will be samples!
